The moon over my home this morning is amazing.
I was one of those kids that believed the moon followed me.
It did follow me to work this morning, lighting the way. Shining bright in the clear sky. Not enough brilliance to light the day, but perfect for a romantic night or a relaxing walk under the stars.
The moon’s time to shine.
We all have our time to shine. At different stages in life. Not everyone will shine like the sun, out there making the spotlight, sometimes blinding people with their aura.
Some will shine like the moon, equally beautiful, with an inner light as bright as the sun. Reflecting on others and having a way to share the spotlight.
A light you can look straight into and feel. One that doesn’t make you squint or turn away. A light that creates inner warmth.
The physical pull from the moon, the one that moves oceans. The phases that change and compliments the earth, yet is always there.
It doesn’t hide in the darkness, it leads the way.
We are all light.
And each of us shine in our own way.
Some of us are front and center.
Brighter than most, quickly find our light and show the world.
And some of us shine when others don’t.
In our own time.
We shine brighter to those like us. Help pull their light out and show them how beautiful they are.
So different, yet so the same.
Whether you are as bright as the sun or moon, remember, your light is a beacon for others.
Each shining in our own way, in our own time.
Be patient with yourself and others.
Sometimes it takes a fracture for the light to shine through. Which makes the light even more amazing.
Shine bright
Love big
